Wilwood 140-16847-DR Front Big Brake Kit for 2013-2024 Honda Civic, Superlite 6R 6-Piston Caliper, Drilled and Slotted Rotor

Upgrade the braking performance of your 2013-2024 Honda Civic with the Wilwood 140-16847-DR Front Big Brake Kit. Designed for enthusiasts seeking improved stopping power and consistent pedal feel, this complete kit combines a forged narrow Superlite 6R six-piston aluminum caliper with a high-performance drilled and slotted iron rotor. The red powder-coated caliper adds a clean, performance-focused appearance while providing the durability expected from Wilwood components.
The Superlite 6R caliper is engineered to deliver balanced brake force and reliable control during spirited street driving, autocross, and track use. Its six-piston design helps distribute clamping pressure evenly across the brake pad, promoting consistent pad wear and responsive braking. The lightweight aluminum construction helps reduce unsprung mass compared with heavier factory components, supporting sharper suspension response and overall vehicle handling.
The included 12.88-inch drilled and slotted iron rotor is designed to manage heat efficiently during repeated braking. Drilled and slotted surfaces help refresh the pad contact area and support stable performance under demanding conditions. As a vehicle-specific front brake kit, the Wilwood 140-16847-DR is tailored for compatible 2013-2024 Honda Civic applications, making it a practical upgrade for drivers who want stronger braking performance without sacrificing a clean, integrated installation.
This Wilwood brake kit is supplied as a complete front-system solution and is intended for installation by a qualified technician. Verify vehicle trim, wheel clearance, and application compatibility before ordering, as upgraded brake components may require suitable wheel and clearance specifications. The kit is not air restricted and does not require truck freight shipping.
