Volant 19955 Closed Box Air Intake System with Reusable Oiled Filter for 2001-2004 Ford F-150 Lightning

Upgrade your truck’s air intake system with the Volant 19955 Closed Box Air Intake. Designed for the Ford Modular engine in the 2001-2004 Ford F-150 Lightning and compatible Ford full-size truck applications, this kit helps create a more controlled path for incoming air while protecting the filter from engine-compartment heat. The enclosed design supports consistent intake performance and provides a clean, purposeful appearance under the hood.

The system includes a reusable oiled filter and durable black plastic construction for long-term service. The washable filter can be maintained and reused when properly cleaned and re-oiled, helping reduce the need for frequent replacement filters. The closed-box configuration also helps isolate the intake element from surrounding heat and debris, making it a practical choice for street-driven trucks and performance-oriented applications.

Volant engineered the 19955 air induction system for a direct-fit style installation using vehicle-specific components. Its black finish complements factory engine compartments while offering a more performance-focused alternative to the original intake arrangement. This kit is not classified as air restricted and does not require truck freight shipping, making it suitable for standard delivery and installation by experienced do-it-yourselfers or professional technicians.

Verify vehicle fitment and engine configuration before ordering. For best results, follow the included installation instructions and maintain the reusable filter according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. The Volant 19955 combines a sealed intake design, reusable filtration, and application-specific fitment for Ford F-150 Lightning and select Ford full-size truck models.
