TRANS-DAPT 1450 Oil Filter Adapter for GM V6 and 4-Cylinder Engines

The TRANS-DAPT 1450 Oil Filter Adapter provides a practical bypass oil filtration connection for select GM V6 and 4-cylinder applications. Designed with a 90-degree configuration, this adapter helps simplify filter plumbing and routing in installations where space or access around the engine is limited. Its aluminum construction offers a balance of durability and reduced weight, while the natural finish provides a clean, functional appearance.
The adapter uses an 18 mm x 1.50 center thread and features 1/2-inch NPT female inlet and outlet ports for compatible oil system components. This configuration supports custom oil filtration setups and allows the use of suitable hoses, fittings, or bypass filter equipment. Verify engine application, thread compatibility, and available clearance before installation to help ensure proper fitment and reliable operation.
Built for automotive oil system projects, the TRANS-DAPT 1450 is suitable for replacement installations, performance upgrades, and custom filtration applications. Its straightforward design makes it a useful component for organizing oil flow between the engine and a remote or bypass filter. Professional installation is recommended, and all connections should be properly sealed and checked for leaks before operating the vehicle.
