TCI 880028 Speedometer Driven Gear, 40-Tooth Plastic, Black for GM Transmissions

Restore accurate speedometer operation with the TCI 880028 Speedometer Driven Gear. Designed with 40 teeth and manufactured from durable black plastic, this replacement gear is engineered for dependable engagement with compatible GM automatic transmissions. Its direct-replacement design makes it a practical choice for rebuilding, servicing, or maintaining the vehicle’s original speedometer drive system.
The TCI 880028 is compatible with GM 200C, 375B, TH425, TH475, and 700R4 transmissions. The driven gear helps transfer transmission output rotation to the speedometer cable or vehicle speed-sensing system, supporting reliable speed readings when matched with the correct drive gear and application. Always verify transmission compatibility and gearing requirements before installation.
Built for straightforward service work, this TCI speedometer gear is supplied as an individual replacement component. Its molded plastic construction provides a lightweight solution for transmission-related speedometer repairs, while the black finish matches common original-equipment-style applications. The gear is suitable for automotive restoration, drivetrain rebuilding, and replacement of worn or damaged speedometer components.
