TCI 880008 Speedometer Driven Gear, 35-Tooth, Orange Plastic for GM Transmissions

The TCI 880008 Speedometer Driven Gear is designed to provide accurate speedometer operation in select GM automatic transmissions. This 35-tooth driven gear is manufactured from durable orange plastic and is intended for applications using GM 200C, 375B, TH425, TH475, and 700R4 transmissions. It is sold individually for convenient replacement during transmission service, drivetrain upgrades, or speedometer calibration work.
The TCI speedometer gear helps transfer transmission output-shaft rotation to the vehicle’s speedometer mechanism, supporting reliable vehicle-speed readings when matched to the correct transmission setup. Proper gear selection is important for maintaining speedometer accuracy, particularly when changing tire size, axle gearing, or transmission components. Verify tooth count and transmission compatibility before installation.
Designed as a direct replacement-style component, the TCI 880008 gear offers a practical solution for restoring or adjusting speedometer function. Its molded plastic construction provides a lightweight design suitable for the intended GM transmission applications, while the orange color allows for quick visual identification during installation or service. Professional installation is recommended to confirm correct fitment and operation.
