Sportsman Racing Products 140679 SBC Domed Forged Piston Set, 4.040 in Bore, +11 cc, Set of 8

Build reliable small-block Chevy performance with the Sportsman Racing Products Part Number 140679 piston set. Designed for high-performance applications, these forged 350 dome pistons feature a 4.040-inch bore and a positive 11.00 cc dome volume to support compression-focused engine combinations. The set includes eight pistons for a complete V8 build and is intended for compatible Small Block Chevy applications.
The 1.260-inch compression height helps provide a precise fit within properly matched rotating assemblies, while the 1/16-inch, 1/16-inch, and 3/16-inch ring grooves accommodate commonly used performance piston ring configurations. The forged construction delivers strength and durability for demanding street, strip, and competition environments when paired with the correct crankshaft, connecting rods, rings, and engine clearances.
Before installation, verify piston-to-wall clearance, deck height, valve-to-piston clearance, compression ratio, ring selection, and all manufacturer-recommended assembly specifications. Professional engine machining and careful measurement are recommended to ensure proper fit and dependable operation. This Sportsman Racing Products 140679 piston set is supplied as a set of eight and is engineered for builders seeking a domed forged piston solution for a 4.040-inch-bore Small Block Chevy engine.
