Skyjacker FBL40 Front Braided Stainless Brake Hose Kit for Jeep CJ and J10 with 3 to 5 Inch Lift

Upgrade the front brake system on your lifted Jeep with the Skyjacker FBL40 Brake Hose Kit. Designed for Jeep CJ applications from 1982 through 1986 and Jeep J10 applications from 1979 through 1991, this kit provides a dependable replacement for worn, stretched, or damaged factory brake hoses. It is engineered for vehicles equipped with a 3 to 5 inch suspension lift and supports improved brake hose routing and clearance compared with standard-length lines.
The Skyjacker FBL40 features braided stainless steel construction for enhanced durability and resistance to abrasion, expansion, and demanding underbody conditions. Each hose is DOT approved, helping provide confidence in fitment and braking performance when properly installed with the vehicle’s existing brake hardware. The front-position design makes this kit suitable for targeted brake system upgrades or restoration projects involving compatible Jeep applications.
Built by Skyjacker, the FBL40 combines durable materials with application-specific design for lifted Jeep builds, off-road vehicles, and classic truck restorations. Verify your Jeep model, year, lift height, and front brake configuration before installation to ensure proper compatibility. Professional installation is recommended, and all brake components should be inspected and tested after installation. The kit is not air restricted and does not require truck freight handling.
