Permatex Optimum Red RTV High-Temperature Silicone Sealant 27038, 3 oz Tube

Permatex Optimum Red RTV Silicone Sealant Part Number 27038 is a high-temperature gasket maker designed for demanding automotive and mechanical sealing applications. The red RTV silicone formula cures into a flexible, durable rubber gasket that helps resist cracking, shrinking, and movement caused by vibration, thermal cycling, and changing operating conditions. Packaged in a convenient 3 oz tube, it is suitable for repair work, maintenance, and custom gasket applications where dependable sealing performance is required.
Use this Permatex sealant on compatible rigid flange assemblies and sealing surfaces after removing old gasket material, oil, and residue. The product forms an effective seal around covers, housings, flanges, and other components exposed to elevated temperatures. Its flexible cured form accommodates minor surface movement while helping prevent leaks from moisture, fluids, and other contaminants. Always follow the vehicle or equipment manufacturer’s instructions and allow the sealant to cure as directed before returning the assembly to service.
Permatex Optimum Red RTV High-Temperature Silicone Sealant is a practical choice for technicians, mechanics, and do-it-yourself users who need a reliable silicone gasket maker in a compact tube. The product is supplied individually and is not air restricted or limited to truck freight, supporting convenient handling for shop, garage, and maintenance applications.
