PERMA-COOL 1226 Dual Remote Oil Filter Mount with 1-16 Thread and 1/2 in NPT Ports

The PERMA-COOL 1226 Dual Remote Oil Filter Mount provides a practical solution for relocating and expanding an engine oil filtration system. Designed to accept two spin-on oil filters with a 1-16 thread, this bolt-on mount supports increased filtration capacity while helping improve access for routine oil filter service. Its side-port configuration allows for flexible hose routing in a variety of custom automotive, racing, marine, and performance applications.
Constructed from lightweight aluminum with a natural finish, the PERMA-COOL 1226 mount combines durable performance with a clean, functional design. Two 1/2 in NPT ports provide connection points for compatible oil lines, making it easier to configure the mount according to the vehicle or equipment layout. The bolt-on design supports secure installation when paired with suitable hardware and properly prepared mounting surfaces.
The dual remote filter adapter is intended for installations where space, service access, or added oil filtration are important considerations. Before installation, verify filter compatibility, oil flow direction, hose size, port requirements, and available clearance. Use appropriate thread sealant and installation procedures for the selected fittings, and inspect the complete system for leaks before operating the engine. The PERMA-COOL 1226 is supplied as an individual mount and is a dependable choice for custom oil filtration setups.
