BILSTEIN SMX Series Front Shock Absorber 24-296854 for GM A-Body, F-Body and G-Body

The BILSTEIN SMX Series shock absorber is designed for the front suspension of GM A-Body, F-Body and G-Body applications. Part number 24-296854 features a monotube internal design with a steel smooth body and black-painted finish for a durable, performance-oriented construction.

This non-adjustable shock uses C6-R6 valve tuning, with compression and rebound values of 325 at 10 inches per second. Its linear piston design, 46mm piston diameter and 11mm shaft diameter support consistent damping performance for motorsports use.

The shock features a stock-mount body design with a stem upper mount and bar-pin lower mount. It has a 12.01-inch extended length, an 8.27-inch collapsed length and 3.74 inches of stroke or travel. The spring seat and boot are not included.
