The Advanced Clutch SB8-HDSS Heavy-Duty Performance Street Sprung Clutch Kit combines a Heavy Duty pressure plate with a Performance Street sprung disc for enhanced clutch performance. Its pressure plate uses an exclusive diaphragm design intended to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. The diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process, while precision cover stampings support rigidity and consistency.

The Performance Street disc uses premium organic friction material with high copper content for improved heat transfer, along with steel-backed lining for increased burst strength and durability. Reduced marcel supports faster shift action, complementing the Heavy Duty pressure plate. The kit has a stated torque capacity of 259 foot-pounds, which is 59% over OE capacity.

This conversion kit includes an ACT Prolite flywheel and must be used with the included ACT flywheel. The package also includes a release bearing, alignment tool, grease, flywheel bolts, and pressure plate bolts. The clutch disc is sprung, measures 224 mm in diameter, uses organic material, and is designed for a 24-spline, 1-inch input shaft. A clutch slave cylinder is not included.
