Advanced Clutch SB10-HDG6 Heavy Duty Race Sprung 6-Pad Clutch Kit with Monoloc

The Advanced Clutch SB10-HDG6 Heavy Duty Race Sprung 6-Pad Clutch Kit is designed for performance applications requiring strong clamping force and durable operation. Its Heavy Duty pressure plate uses an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and help maximize clutch life. Precision cover stampings provide rigidity and consistency, while the diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process for performance under demanding conditions.

The 6-pad ceramic clutch disc features spring-centered construction to damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. Wraparound spring windows and thicker spring retainer stampings provide additional spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. Engagement is harsher than a conventional disc, but shifting is faster, and the 6-pad design is recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat.

This kit includes ACT Monoloc, a one-piece replacement or upgrade for the standard two-piece wedge collar and wire ring used with pull-type clutches. Its segmented retaining ring is engineered for uniform loading on the bearing and pressure plate to help maintain proper alignment. Monoloc is constructed from hardened chrome-moly steel for long-term service. The kit also includes a release bearing, alignment tool, and grease.

The SB10-HDG6 has a 668 ft-lb torque capacity, rated at 88% over OE, and uses a 240 mm sprung disc with a 24-spline, 1-inch input shaft interface. A pilot bushing, pressure plate bolts, clutch slave cylinder, and flywheel bolts are not included.
