The Advanced Clutch GM9-HDSS Heavy Duty Performance Street Sprung Clutch Kit combines a Heavy Duty pressure plate with a Performance Street sprung disc. The pressure plate uses an exclusive diaphragm design intended to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. Its diaphragms undergo a four-stage heat-treating process, while precision cover stampings provide rigidity and consistency.

The Performance Street disc uses premium organic friction material with high copper content for improved heat transfer. Steel-backed lining supports burst strength and durability, while reduced marcel is designed to promote faster shift action. The sprung disc has 26 input splines and a 1.125-inch input shaft diameter.

This performance-grade kit has a listed torque capacity of 709 foot-pounds and a torque capacity stated as 42% over OE. It must be used with a flat flywheel or ACT 600585 flywheel for LS2, LS3, and LS7 applications. The kit includes an alignment tool and grease. The flywheel, pilot bushing, release bearing, pressure plate bolts, clutch slave cylinder, and flywheel bolts are not included.
