Wizards Products — Professional-Grade Car Care & Detailing Chemicals

Wizards Products has been formulating professional-grade car care and detailing chemicals since 1958, building a loyal following among auto enthusiasts, show car owners, and professional detailers who demand results that consumer-grade products cannot deliver. From car wash soaps and paint cleaners to waxes, polishes, and specialty detailing chemicals, Wizards Products produces a comprehensive car care lineup formulated for the specific challenges of maintaining show-quality paint, chrome, glass, and interior surfaces on performance and collector vehicles.

Car Wash & Paint Cleaners

Wizards car wash soaps are formulated to remove road grime, brake dust, and environmental contamination without stripping wax or sealant protection from the paint surface. High-lubricity wash formulas reduce the risk of wash-induced swirl marks by providing a slick surface between the wash mitt and the paint, allowing contaminants to be lifted and rinsed away rather than dragged across the paint surface. Wizards paint cleaners address oxidation, water spots, and light surface contamination that wash alone cannot remove, restoring paint clarity before wax or polish application.

Waxes & Paint Sealants

Wizards produces carnauba wax and synthetic paint sealant formulations for different protection and appearance requirements. Carnauba wax delivers the warm, deep gloss that show car owners prefer, with natural carnauba content that provides UV protection and water beading on painted surfaces. Synthetic paint sealants provide longer-lasting protection than natural wax, with polymer bonding that resists washing and environmental exposure for extended protection intervals between applications.

Wizards' Mystic Cut and ICE products are among the most popular in the lineup, providing a combination of light paint correction and protection in a single application for enthusiasts who want improved paint clarity and protection without a multi-step correction and protection process.

Polishes & Paint Correction

Wizards produces a range of polishes and paint correction compounds for removing swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and oxidation from painted surfaces. Diminishing abrasive technology allows the polish to cut aggressively at the start of the buffing cycle and refine to a high gloss finish as the abrasives break down — eliminating the need for multiple polish grades in many correction applications. Machine and hand application formulas are available depending on the correction level needed and the tools being used.

Chrome & Metal Polishes

Wizards chrome and metal polishes are formulated for the specific requirements of chrome plating, polished aluminum, stainless steel, and bare metal surfaces on classic cars, hot rods, and show vehicles. Chrome polish removes tarnish, water spots, and light oxidation from chrome surfaces without scratching the plating, restoring the mirror finish that defines show-quality chrome. Aluminum polish addresses the oxidation and pitting that develops on polished aluminum wheels, engine components, and trim over time, restoring the bright finish of correctly polished aluminum.

Interior & Specialty Products

Wizards produces interior detailing products for vinyl, leather, rubber, and plastic surfaces — including protectants, cleaners, and conditioners that restore and maintain the appearance of interior surfaces without the greasy residue that consumer-grade protectants leave on dashboards and door panels. Specialty products include glass cleaners, tire dressings, engine degreasers, and detailing sprays for quick maintenance between full detail sessions.

Common Applications

Wizards Products are used across show cars, collector vehicles, daily drivers, motorcycles, boats, and RVs — any application where paint, chrome, and interior surface appearance is a priority. Show car owners and professional detailers are the core Wizards customer base, with the product lineup formulated for the demanding standards of show car preparation where surface perfection is the goal.

Application Notes

Wizards waxes and polishes deliver best results on clean, cool paint surfaces out of direct sunlight. Apply in thin, even coats and allow to haze before buffing — thick applications are harder to remove and do not provide additional protection or gloss over thin applications. Machine polishing with a dual-action or rotary polisher delivers faster and more consistent results than hand application for paint correction work. Always follow the specific application instructions for each Wizards product, as cure times and application methods vary between formulations.
