Performance Series Shocks

FOX Performance Series shocks are the entry point into the FOX lineup and represent a significant step up from OEM dampers in both construction and capability. Monotube design with a 2.0” body provides greater oil capacity and heat dissipation than twin-tube alternatives, reducing fade during extended off-road use. Performance Series shocks are available as direct replacements for stock-height applications and in extended travel configurations for lifted trucks and Jeeps.

The Performance Elite series adds a piggyback reservoir for increased oil volume and improved heat management on builds that see sustained high-speed off-road use or repeated hard cycling on technical terrain.

Factory Series & Remote Reservoir Shocks

FOX Factory Series shocks represent the top of the bolt-on performance lineup, with larger body diameters, remote reservoirs, and application-specific valving tuned for the weight and suspension geometry of each platform. The 2.5” and 3.0” body options provide the oil volume and thermal capacity needed for desert running, rock crawling, and high-speed trail use where lesser shocks fade and lose damping consistency.

Remote reservoir configurations allow the reservoir to be mounted separately from the shock body, providing maximum oil capacity without compromising shock body placement in tight suspension packaging environments. Reservoir hose length and mounting hardware are included for clean, professional installations.

Coilovers

FOX coilover systems combine the damping performance of Factory Series shocks with integrated spring perches for full ride height adjustability. Available in internal bypass and non-bypass configurations, FOX coilovers are the preferred choice for lifted truck builds, prerunner setups, and any application where precise corner weighting and ride height tuning are required. DSC (Dual Speed Control) adjuster options allow independent tuning of low-speed and high-speed compression damping for dialing in the exact balance between trail compliance and high-speed stability.

Installation Notes

FOX Performance Series shocks are direct bolt-on replacements on most supported platforms. Factory Series and coilover installations may require extended brake lines, upper control arm modifications, or bump stop adjustments depending on lift height and platform. A professional four-wheel alignment is required after any suspension change. FOX shocks are rebuildable and re-valvable by FOX-authorized service centers, extending the service life of the investment significantly beyond non-rebuildable alternatives.
