DiamondFIRE Technology
The DiamondFIRE ground electrode is E3's core innovation and the reason their plugs perform differently from conventional designs. Traditional J-hook electrodes create a spark that fires into a partially enclosed space — the electrode itself blocks a portion of the flame kernel's expansion path, slowing combustion and reducing efficiency. E3's diamond-shaped electrode fires the spark into open combustion chamber space on three sides, allowing the flame front to propagate faster and more uniformly across the piston crown.
Faster, more complete combustion means more of the fuel charge is converted to useful work before the exhaust valve opens — translating directly to improved thermal efficiency, more horsepower from the same fuel, and lower hydrocarbon emissions from more complete combustion.
