BluePrint Engines Dyno-Tested Crate Engines for GM, Ford & Mopar

A crate engine is the foundation of any serious build, and BluePrint Engines has been delivering dyno-tested, ready-to-run powerplants since 1997. Whether you're replacing a tired original engine, building a restomod with modern power, or starting a performance build from scratch, BluePrint offers a complete lineup of small block and big block crate engines for GM, Ford, and Mopar applications — built to spec, tested before they ship, and backed by a warranty that stands behind the product.

Dyno-Tested & Ready to Run

Every BluePrint engine is run on the dyno before it leaves the facility. That means the engine you receive has been started, broken in, and verified to produce its rated power output — not assembled and shipped cold. Dyno testing catches assembly issues before they become your problem, and the documented power numbers give you a verified baseline for your build.

BluePrint engines ship fully dressed with intake manifold, carburetor or EFI system, valve covers, timing cover, and water pump — ready to drop in with your existing accessories and exhaust. No sourcing individual components, no assembly required. Drop it in, connect it up, and drive.

GM Crate Engines

BluePrint's GM lineup covers the most popular small block and big block Chevy displacements — 350, 383, 400, 427, and 454 cubic inch configurations in street, street/strip, and all-out performance builds. Their stroker series extracts maximum displacement from the small block architecture for builds that want big block torque in a compact package. LS-series crate engines are also available for swap applications where modern EFI performance is the goal.

Ford & Mopar Crate Engines

BluePrint's Ford lineup includes small block 289, 302, 347, and 427 Windsor configurations, along with FE-series big block options for classic Ford and Shelby builds. Mopar builders can choose from small block 318, 340, and 360 configurations as well as big block 383, 440, and stroker variants — all built to the same dyno-tested standard as the GM lineup.

Power Levels & Build Specs

BluePrint offers engines across a range of power levels to match the build and budget. Their base street engines deliver reliable, streetable power with iron heads and a hydraulic flat tappet or roller camshaft. Mid-range performance engines step up to aluminum heads, aggressive hydraulic roller cams, and higher compression for serious street and occasional strip use. Top-tier builds feature fully CNC-ported heads, solid roller camshafts, and race-spec internals for maximum output.
