High-Flow Air Filters

K&N's signature cotton gauze air filter media is the foundation of the entire product lineup. Multi-layer oiled cotton gauze flows significantly more air than OEM paper filters at equivalent filtration efficiency, reducing intake restriction and allowing the engine to breathe more freely across the RPM range. The wrench-off nut welded to the end cap simplifies removal without a filter wrench, and the silicone anti-drain back valve maintains oil pressure at startup to protect bearings during cold starts. Installation Notes

K&N drop-in replacement filters install directly into the factory airbox with no modification required. Cold air intake systems are bolt-on installations on most supported platforms, with complete hardware and instructions included. MAF sensor transfer from the factory intake tube is required on MAF-equipped vehicles — handle the sensor carefully to avoid damage during transfer. Allow the filter to dry completely after cleaning before re-oiling and reinstalling to prevent oil contamination of the MAF sensor, which can cause rich running conditions and fault codes.
