Fire Bottle

Fire Bottle — Fire Suppression Systems for Race Cars & Performance Builds

When you're running a high-output engine, forced induction, or a fuel system pushed beyond stock parameters, fire suppression isn't optional — it's part of the build. Fire Bottle manufactures compact, purpose-built fire suppression systems designed specifically for race cars, hot rods, and performance vehicles where space is tight, weight matters, and reliability under pressure is non-negotiable.

Automatic & Manual Systems

Fire Bottle offers both automatic and manual fire suppression configurations to match your safety requirements and sanctioning body rules. Automatic systems use a heat-activated trigger that deploys the suppressant without driver input — critical in situations where a fire starts in an area the driver can't immediately detect, such as the engine bay or underneath the vehicle. Manual systems give the driver direct control via a pull cable or push-button activation, and are commonly used as a complement to automatic systems or as a standalone solution in open-cockpit and bracket racing applications.

Both system types are available in multiple bottle sizes to match the protected volume of your engine bay, cockpit, or fuel cell area. Nozzle placement and line routing are fully configurable for custom installations.

Suppressant & System Design

Fire Bottle systems use clean-agent suppressants that extinguish fires rapidly without leaving corrosive residue on electrical components, wiring, or painted surfaces. This is a critical advantage over dry chemical systems in race and show car applications where post-fire cleanup and component preservation matter. The suppressant is non-toxic and safe for use in enclosed cockpit environments.

Bottle construction is aluminum with a compact form factor engineered for tight engine bay and roll cage installations. Pressure gauges allow quick visual confirmation that the system is charged and ready without removing the bottle from its mount.

Common Applications

Fire Bottle systems are used across drag racing, road course, autocross, off-road racing, and high-performance street builds. They're a common requirement in sanctioned drag racing classes and are increasingly specified in track day and time attack builds where safety equipment standards are enforced. Hot rods, restomod builds, and supercharged street cars running aggressive fuel systems also benefit from the added protection of a properly installed suppression system.

Compliance & Sanctioning

Fire Bottle systems are designed to meet the requirements of major sanctioning bodies including NHRA, IHRA, and various road racing organizations. Always verify your specific class rules and required system specifications — bottle size, suppressant type, nozzle count, and activation method — before purchasing to ensure full compliance for your racing application.

Build Quality & Reliability

Fire Bottle systems are built and tested in the USA with components rated for the vibration, heat, and G-force environment of motorsport use. Mounting brackets are included and engineered for secure installation in roll cage and chassis mounting points. The systems are designed for long service life with minimal maintenance — periodic pressure checks and suppressant recharge after deployment are the primary service requirements.

Installation Notes

Fire Bottle installations require careful planning of nozzle placement to ensure adequate suppressant coverage of the protected zones. Engine bay systems should direct nozzles toward the carburetor, fuel lines, and ignition components — the most common ignition points in performance builds. Cockpit systems require nozzle placement that covers the driver area without directing suppressant flow directly at the driver's face. Full installation instructions and technical support are available for all systems.
