Crate Engines

Chevrolet Performance's crate engine lineup spans the full range of GM performance architecture — from classic small block and big block Chevy engines for restoration and restomod builds to the latest LS and LT-series engines that represent the current state of GM performance engineering. Every Chevrolet Performance crate engine is assembled, tested, and certified at GM facilities and backed by a GM warranty — the only crate engine on the market with that level of factory support.

The LS lineup includes the LS3, LS376, and LSX series — ranging from 430 to 580+ horsepower in naturally aspirated configuration. The LT lineup brings direct injection and Active Fuel Management technology to crate engine applications, with the LT1, LT4, and supercharged LT5 delivering up to 755 horsepower in factory-warranted form. Chevrolet Performance's transmission lineup includes the T56 Magnum six-speed manual, the 4L80-E and 6L80-E automatics, and the TR6060 — factory-engineered units rated for the torque output of Chevrolet Performance crate engines. Matching a Chevrolet Performance engine with a Chevrolet Performance transmission ensures correct torque capacity, bellhousing compatibility, and calibration without the adaptation issues that arise from mixing brands.

Performance Components & Accessories
